MARK'S AUDIO PAGE - HOW TO CREATE STREAMING AUDIO In order to provide audio streaming, you will need "RealProducer" (to convert your audio source to the correct format) and "RealPlayer" (to play the audio). Both have basic versions which are free to download, and are available at http://www.real.com/ 1 Using RealProducer, convert your audio source to a ".rm" format and upload it to your area. For example, we'll name the audio file "audio.rm" and upload it to a directory called www.your_isp.com/your_name/ 2 Create a web page with the extension ".ram". This will contain just one line - the full URL of the ".rm" file from step 1. (in our example, this page would be called "audio.ram" and the single line would be: http://www.your_isp.com/your_name/audio.rm). Upload this file. 3 On the page you wish to have the audio link, type the following command: Click here for the audio Replacing "audio.ram" with whatever you called the page you created in step 2 This will launch your RealPlayer and the audio should start.
